A chronic heightened stress response is a physiological response. It occurs, and was hard wired into, the physical body. If we are solely focused on "stress management" strategies, without addressing the physiology, the response is bound to continue repeating itself.
When we address anxiety on a neurological and physical level, we do more than put a band aid on the symptoms of stress. We create a new physiological response for the individual. This leads to a physical and mental shift that allow for lasting results. |
